Disc Golf

We have great open outdoor areas to have a game of disc golf.

Outdoor Hiking

If you love to hike then get ready, we have some of the best trails for hiking and sightseeing.

Outdoor Croquet

We feature the world's largest croquet court. Played with our custom mallets and oversized balls.

The Club House is located next to S'mores N More General Store. Our Club House features an 11,000 square foot outdoor patio with a large solar heated pool and spa both pool & spa are ADA accessible. Our large swimming pool heated to a toasty 80° will be open May to October. The pool is located on the Grand Patio conveniently located to relax the day away. The pool and separate spa both feature lift devises for swimmers and soakers with mobility issues and situated next to private restrooms and showers.

Our Indoor Meeting and Gathering Room (located in the Club House) accommodates 150 people in air-conditioned comfort. This room has a P.A. system and warming kitchen for all your potluck needs.

We also have an indoor exercise room as well as a large covered gym, children's arcade, board game room and lending library located at S'mores N More.

Our poolside patio features lounge chairs, umbrella tables and vending machines. Food and beverages allowed on the Grand Patio a perfect location to watch the kids or read a book. Hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and sodas are also available on the patio through out the summer.

Our separate Spa heated to 102° year-round and conveniently located in close proximity to the pool, and patios as well. The pool and spa utilize solar heat and feature super energy efficient variable speed pumps, cutting the energy cost in half.

S'mores n More General Store

Our store located next to the Club House and Pool/Spa Area. You can purchase your basic groceries, RV supplies, camping supplies, fishing tackle, propane, ice, firewood, and all the ingredients for making s'mores. If you forgot to pack something for your trip, stop by S'mores N More General Store and check out our loaner list.

We are Dog Friendly at the RV Resort. In fact, our dogs get gift baskets & loaner beds to make their RV experience everything it can be.

Our Doggie Shower/Bath and Social Deck is open May through October and have a huge dog shower. There is plenty of room for dog's best friend to relax with a cool drink or good book while their four footed friends are allowed to socialize.

We also have a challenge course designed for man's best friend. Doggie totters, tunnels, and obstacles of all shapes and sizes will keep Fido on his toes. We believe dogs are mans best friend and try to accommodate all dogs with only some restrictions

Camp Tales Movie Pavilion

Storytelling and fun movies are offered free of charge June through September. The resort features talented storytellers, so get ready for oodles of family fun and entertainment. Bring the kids, marsh mallows, popcorn, and warm jackets. Then sit back and relax. You're on vacation! Please see our Events Page for scheduled times and dates for storytellers and movie times.

Private Shower Rooms

All shower rooms at our resort are private use rooms. You will not have to share unless you want to! Large ultra clean showers and restrooms located at the Yurt Circle and S'mores n More General Store.

Laundry Facilities

Laundry areas are located at the store area and next to the yurt circle. All of the washers and driers are super high efficiency low water consumption front loading machines.

Saunas

Our unique barrel saunas are perfect for a couple or a crowd. We have one sauna at the Yurt Circle and the other sauna is near the pool area. You may reserve the saunas for 15 minute or 30 minute increments. Just sign up on the board located next to the sauna of your choice.

Yurt Circle

We have a beautiful wooded yurt circle for the yurt enthusiast which features yurts for a group of four people up to large family units that can accommodate eight people. These yurts come fully furnished including microwave, refrigerator, ceiling fans and electric heat.

Ye Ole Smokehouse

Ye Ole Smokehouse has been designed for the do it yourself enthusiast. It is provided free of charge and smoking supplies can be purchased in our store or any sporting goods store. You will find directions & great recipes at the check-in desk. Try your hand at making beef jerky, smoking a salmon, or turkey. Ye Ole Smokehouse with its old world charm is a great place for family fun! Plan ahead, Jerky and fish must be in brine for 24 hours. Be sure to allow several hours for the smoking process. If you are up for the task, you will enjoy some of the best jerky in the world! We will show you how.

The Events Pavilion

The Events Pavilion is located on the north end of the park in our Rally Loop. There is a walking and biking trail from the park to the Events Pavilion and the Rally Area. This structure is not heated although fully covered, and has ample room to play tennis, basketball or pickle ball. Adjacent to the Events Pavilion is Bigfoot Picnic Pavilion, a large rock fire pit and Ye Ole Smokehouse. It is also home to Fort Winnebago Playground, Disc Golf Course, Bigfoot Croquet, and our bicycle challenge course. This area is a great place for that special event. It will generally be open from May to October.

Rally Area

Our resort designed to accommodate large groups, up to 800 RV's or campers. We have multiple shelters, pavilions, and cooking areas for groups of 20 to 2,000 people. Our large outdoor kitchen can accommodate the needs of any catering company or group. Huge barbecues, refrigerator, buffet islands, we have it all. Just give us a buzz and we can send you a comprehensive package on what we can offer your rally or jamboree

Wood Fired Pizza Oven

Our pizza oven can cook a small cheese or giant gourmet pizza for your whole group. The oven made of masonry river rock, looks so much like an "igloo" you might want your parka. You build the fire and you create the pizza. Basic pizza ingredients are available in our store. If you require special sauces or spices for your recipe, the true gourmet may make a trip to Safeway. The wood is free and we have some great recipes at S'mores n More. Kids and adults will love this and we will be happy to guide you thru the process. Making your own pizza is fun, its good and all you need to do is "say cheese."

Fun Stuff

Some activities for the young, the young at heart, and active folks include Fort Winnebago (a great playground that has two tree forts connected by a bridge and great for water fights), Wet Willies Water Wrangler' Squirt Gun Park, slide, rock wall, and swings. Fort Winnebago is located next to the Bigfoot Picnic Pavilion. "Toutle Tunes" (Karaoke Stage) is open Friday and Saturday June through September. Adults can enjoy the shade and music while the kids play at the fenced-in playground.

Worlds Largest Croquet Court

We feature the world's largest croquet court. This court is 200 feet wide and 500 feet long, and is played with our custom mallets and oversized croquet balls. The croquet courts have lights for evening play. This is entertaining and a great workout as well. For the adults, we have elevated judge platforms that straddle the poison post. Those who would rather be relaxing with a cold drink can cheer on their teammates in style from these croquet forts!

Disc Golf

Disc Golf is becoming very popular and incredibly fun. We feature a deluxe PDGA designed disc golf course, spread out over 10 acres. This is an enjoyable way to walk a couple of miles. We have loaner Frisbees for everyone at the S’mores n More General Store.

Volleyball Courts

The beautiful grass volleyball courts are located in the yurt circle, on Maple Street and at the picnic pavilion. The courts located on Maple and the picnic pavilions have lights for nighttime play.

Picnic Areas

Picnic areas that accommodate groups of all sizes are located throughout the park. In addition to the picnic areas, many sites have private barbecues and our famous 500 Ib. picnic tables.

Garden Area & Orchard

Our Vegetable Garden and Orchard are located in the Rally Area. Full time and seasonal residents are invited to plant as much or as little as you like. Great soil and sunny skies make for great tasting and flavorful tomatoes.

The Orchard features apples, pears cherries, plums and a pineapple tree, no pineapples yet but these are small trees. All guests are welcome to pick any fruit they like if the deer do not get them first

Bird Watching

Bird watching is another great activity in and around the park. Birdhouses and bird feeders are located throughout the park. There is an osprey platform on the exercise trail near the riverbank. We have a great variety of birds within the park itself. Chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, killdeers, tree swallows, western bluebirds, robins, owls, hummingbirds, hawks, blue heron, ospreys and bald eagles are seen frequently flying overhead. We are in the process of developing a bluebird trail along our fence line with bluebird boxes placed 100 feet apart. Two pair of bluebirds have been spotted eyeing potential homes to raise their young.
